My name is Dr. Luis Pasten. The first time that I decided to be a doctor was when I was a kid. I remember that I told my mother that I don't see myself as any other thing but a doctor. The reason why I chose to be a doctor was to provide a human-quality care to those who need it the most. I studied medicine at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, one of the best med schools in Mexico. I completed my training in laparoscopic surgery and trauma surgery in General Hospital of Tijuana.
I now have more than five years of experience in bariatric surgery, keeping up-to-date, attending regularly to bariatric seminars. And now I have more than five years in experience in bariatric surgery. I keep up-to-date on the latest techniques, attending regularly to bariatric seminars. I have performed over 2,000 bariatric procedures without any leaks or major complications so far. What I love about helping people to achieve their weight goals is to be healthier and also give them the chance to recover those things they have given up on due to obesity.
